
This probably won’t become the way we review AAA games anytime soon, but we do applaud Push Square for trying something new and really making it work. “The controls feel loose” means a lot more if you can just try out the controls.


Frankly, it would be great if we could do this with every game we review. Their little walkthrough lets you experience firsthand everything they talk about in their review. Push Square reviewed Dreams within Dreams itself, and it’s an interesting piece of experimental game journalism. We’ll start with one that, frankly, we wish we thought of. You’ll wade through a lot of garbage, but to be honest, with a few friends joining you garbage can be a lot of fun. In our experience, the best way to roam the dreamiverse is to just dive right in and try random things. There’s not really a great way to search by author or theme, despite the tag system. The dreamiverse can be a little overwhelming, to be honest. Hope it will be worth the wait.Dreams has been out on PlayStation 4 for about a month, which is more than enough time to let the aspiring game designers out there upload some projects. What I find amazing about this video is to see how far along in development the game was over two years ago! It feels as though Mm must have applied painstaking attention to detail on the finishing touches of Dreams. The video rounds up with the guys creating a level. The levels and characters here look to be those that will feature in the story mode which will be included with Dreams on release. The video starts with some time-lapsed sculpting, including a very arty and impressive head that looks like it's carved out of stone, and then seemingly in complete contrast, we see some kind of energy being made out of moving lights! The video moves on to show Shuhei play through a game.

By all accounts, the early access sounds like a brilliant deal for players who already know they want the game. Mm have promised to announce further regions that will benefit from early access in due course. links to the US and EU sign up site are included below.
